IFRS Essentials Course

Your company transparent and compliant with IFRS

The International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) increase transparency and efficiency in the financial market. Among other things, they make it possible to effectively compare the financial position and performance, risk management and liability of directors. Listed companies are obliged to use IFRS, but there may also be good reasons for other companies - for example, large SMEs - to apply IFRS.

Are you responsible for the financial reporting and the annual accounts of your organisation? Or do you advise management on financial planning and strategy based on the annual figures? In the IFRS Essentials course you will get to grips with the current IFRS standards for financial reporting and annual accounts.

Contents

The IFRS Essentials course covers all IFRS standards that are necessary for proper financial reporting based on IFRS principles. You will learn all about the differences between IFRS and Dutch GAAP, and which companies should apply IFRS.

Using examples from daily practice, you will discover the impact of IFRS on your organisation. A few practical calculation models will help you to make your annual accounts transparent and compliant. Moreover, during the course there will be ample opportunity to ask questions.
