Turnover tax (VAT) course

Get more out of your sales tax return

As an entrepreneur, you have to submit sales tax returns periodically. In doing so, you calculate the VAT you have received from customers and reduce it by the VAT you have paid yourself. Simple addition? Not quite, because depending on the nature of your business, there may be interesting VAT schemes or exemptions. By applying these optimally, you can get more out of your VAT return.

Are you responsible for your company's VAT return? Do you want to get more out of your VAT declaration by optimally applying VAT schemes and exemptions? In the two-day Sales Tax course, you gain insight into VAT and sales tax and you learn which aspects are important for the VAT declaration.

On day 1, you learn all about VAT and sales tax. When you are liable to pay VAT. Which VAT rate applies to your products and services. And which conditions your invoicing and administration must meet. You will also be updated on current developments in legislation and regulations in the field of VAT.

Day 2 is all about the sales tax return. How to file a VAT declaration. Which costs you may or may not deduct from the VAT. Which schemes and exemptions your company is eligible for. And how the tax authorities check and enforce this.
