Course Dismissal law under the Wwz, reorganisation and dysfunction

HRM or PO employees play a major role in the performance of employees. If an employee does not perform satisfactorily, one of the consequences may be that the employment contract has to be terminated. However, labour law - including dismissal law - has been radically changed by the Work and Security Act (Wwz).

The Dismissal Law under the Wwz, Reorganisation and Dysfunction training explains in a clear and convenient way what the changes in labour law actually mean. The training focuses on the subjects that HRM and PO staff often have to deal with and what this means for the rest of the organisation. Human Resource Management and labour law are inextricably linked. A sound basic knowledge of labour law is therefore of great importance.

  • Various ways in which employment contract can end: fixed term, resolutive condition, termination, termination with permission, mutual agreement, dissolution
  • The new chain regulation for fixed-term contracts, notice.
  • New procedural rules, including the difference between business economic reasons and other reasons.
  • Transition allowance.
  • Extra severance pay in case of serious culpability
  • Importance of performance appraisals and dossier creation.
  • Importance of internal procedures.
  • Rules for dismissal due to reorganisation, including co-determination
  • Insight into procedural law and possible complications in practice.
  • The new dynamics in negotiations on dismissal by mutual agreement.
  • Stipulation agreement / termination agreement

Target group

This training is ideally suited for HRM or PO employees or employees who perform partial tasks in the field of HRM or PO. The training focuses on the regulations of regular labour law, not on civil servants law.

No previous knowledge is required for this training.

Training material

The training material includes a syllabus, in which the new regulations are clearly explained per topic. You will also receive a book with the complete new legal text, including repair legislation and transitional law.

Working method

This training alternates theory with practical examples, so that the theory can be clearly placed in a recognisable framework. There is also opportunity to discuss problems that the participants encounter in their own work situation. In this way, participants can learn from each other about the various problems that occur in their daily work. The participants are given tools on how to deal with them.

The course description above gives you a good indication of what the training will look like. However, the content may vary slightly from training to training, depending on the prior knowledge, practical experience and learning goals of the participants. In individual intake interviews prior to the training, the learning goals of the participants are inventoried. The definitive programme of the training course is determined on this basis.
