Pitching course: your personal presentation

At get-togethers and other networking events, you will regularly have to present yourself to others. What are you working on? What is your plan? What can you do for others? In short: your pitch.

During our one-day training Pitching: your personal presentation we will work on how you can present your story in a good, relaxed and confident way. We pay attention to your self-confidence and you get practical tips for difficult situations. Think about how you deal with it when all eyes are on you. Of course, we will also practice and sharpen your pitch during the training and how you can grab and hold attention.

Topics

During the training the following topics, among others, will be discussed:

  • Presentation:

    How do you present yourself best? Do you talk about your passion, do you touch people and show what you have to offer?

  • Personal targets:

    What do you want to achieve?

  • Qualities and pitfalls:

    By gaining insight into your qualities, you learn to profile yourself better and you focus less on your pitfalls.

  • Grabbing and holding attention:

    How do you get attention and, above all, how do you keep it?

  • Body language:

    You will gain insight into how body language works and how to use it

  • Dealing with difficult situations:

    How do you deal with difficult questions, critical people, lack of time, etc.?

  • Self-image and self-confidence:

    Develop a positive view of yourself and increase your self-confidence

  • Communication:

    Gain insight into how the communication process works

Results

After attending the training:

  • You have been given a number of tools that will help you to profile yourself more strongly;
  • you have a perfect pitch;
  • you are armed with practical tips in difficult situations, and
  • You know how to present yourself in a way that does justice to who you are.

Target group

This training is ideally suited to participants who want to learn how to profile themselves better in order to show the best of themselves. Do you recognise yourself in one or more of the points below?

Teaching methodology

In the training we alternate between concrete experience, experimenting with behaviour and techniques, reflecting and exploring theory. This way, the training programme fits in well with all types of participants. There is a lot of action in the training, so you actually experience the effect of new behaviour. This enables the recognition of success. We also emphasise that everyone is responsible for his or her own growth process and must take ownership of it. In our training we invite you to continuously reflect and make connections with practice. Our aim is to increase your insight and to let you make the translation yourself. This will increase the chance of real behavioural change.

Made-to-measure

The course description above gives you a good indication of what the training will look like. However, the content may vary slightly from training to training, depending on the prior knowledge, practical experience and learning goals of the participants. In individual intake interviews prior to the training, the learning goals of the participants are inventoried. The definitive programme of the training course is determined on this basis.

Language

The training is provided in Dutch as standard. The trainer has a good command of the English language. Use can be made of course material in English. With a minimum of three participants, the training can also be provided entirely in English.

Prices mentioned are per person, including course material. Lunch is included in the on-site training.

Certificate

We also organise this training online. For this we use Webbex or Zoom. Login with Skype is also possible. On request, this training can also be organised with Microsoft Teams.

The training takes 2 sessions of 3 hours, spread over 2 weeks.

  • You can participate again free of charge up to one year after the training.
  • For an additional catering fee, you can also participate in a classroom training.
