Course Advice Skills

The extent to which advice is understood, accepted and used depends to a large extent on how that opinion is brought. That as an advisor you have the right knowledge and skills is beyond dispute, but how do you convince the client? At the base are a number of instruments where no consultant can go outside, such as being able to cope with resistance, the value of your expertise, transferring knowledge and the ability to use different conversational skills that will help the quality of the advisory process Increase.

In our three-day training Consulting Skills , you develop a personal advice style, as the way we strengthen our persuasion is different for everyone. You decide for yourself which of the techniques and advice you are integrating into your daily practice. The entire advisory process is being run-from request to final call. After completing the training, you will be able to deliver advice in a structured and convincing way.

Results

After training:

  • Are you aware of your role and position in an advisory process;

  • You can deal with expectations of both the customer and yourself.

Target

This training is ideally suited if you want to develop a personal advice style. Do you recognize yourself in one or more of the following points?

Method

  • Customised work is central to us: by means of an intake interview the trainer will enumerate your personal learning goals. On this basis, the final programme of the training is determined.
  • We find a safe training atmosphere important because you have to feel comfortable when experimenting with new knowledge and skills.
  • We strongly believe in doing and experiencing, rather than telling about the content of training, which makes all our trainings active in nature.
  • In order to guarantee the quality of the training, we apply a maximum group size of eight participants for the training, so that we can guarantee the learning effect and efficiency.

 

Language

The training is provided by default in Dutch. The trainer controls the English language. English course material can be used. When registering at least 3 participants, the training can also be provided entirely in English.
