The structural growth of the number of devices connected to the Internet means that there is a large shortage of IP addresses of IPv4. The solution to this problem is a completely new protocol (IPv6), which has more available addresses than IPv4. The growth in the use of Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6) requires network administrators to know what this new Protocol entails within companies. IPv6 does not only address the amount of available addresses, but also changes in functionality and security.
The IPv6 Basics course explains the most important changes between version 4 and version 6. The theory is handled by an experienced trainer and supported by practical exercises. After completing the course you will be able to implement and manage IPv6 safely and functionally. The training is provided by default in Dutch. The trainer controls the English language. English course material can be used. When registering at least 3 participants, the training can also be provided entirely in English.
