As a modern manager you need different qualities than some 25 years ago. From task-oriented management, leadership has developed into a more coaching and motivating role. In addition to digital skills, soft skills such as coaching leadership, dealing with group dynamics, team coaching, delegating and providing feedback are central. Practical skills such as conducting interviews, conflict management and influencing are also still important in management positions.
In the Leadership course we pay a lot of attention to learning the skills you need as a manager. Through assignments and a case study, you will be able to apply what you have learned directly to your daily practice. In this way, you will actively work on your own style of leadership. The combination of a personal intake, 4 blocks of 2 training days on location (including coffee, tea and lunch), intervision meetings, online coaching and a return day, delivers a high training efficiency.
New is the online session on remote management. During this session you will learn tips and tricks to manage your team remotely. And you will immediately experience the advantages and disadvantages of working remotely via online tools.
The return day is two months after the last block. On this day, we briefly refresh the lessons. Using your own practical examples, we will look at how you are doing with your leadership skills, what you still want to learn and how you can best approach this.
The Leadership training is meant for managers who want to improve their leadership skills or get more out of leadership. And for employees who want to advance to a leadership position.
The training is provided by default in Dutch. The trainer controls the English language. English course material can be used. When registering at least 3 participants, the training can also be provided entirely in English.
