In our three-day training Leadership you will gain insight into your own leadership style and how your employees inspire and motivate them . You will experience and deepen skills and techniques in different conversation situations and reflect on your own actions.

Course Management

To be a good manager, you have to know yourself well. Self-reflection is essential for this and the trick is to find a balance between speaking out, daring to confront, giving feedback and getting through. But also: being patient, being able to sit on your hands when needed and leaving the ownership to your employees. Only then you can keep a sharp eye on the results, respect the relationship and with a good dose of energy (and some humour!) fulfill this special role. In the leadership training you will gain insight into your own leadership style and how you inspire and motivate employees. You experience and deepen skills and techniques in different conversation situations and reflect on your own actions.

Topics

During the training, the following topics are covered:

  • Convincing: How do others see you? And how do you see yourself? What do you need to be able to give good control?

  • Optimizing Communicative Skills: Take true, research and invest in your employee by actively listening, summarizing and asking where necessary.

  • Strategically Deploy leadership styles: Discover your own preferred style. What effect does this have on your team? Choose an approach based on what your employee needs.

  • Optimizing Team composition: By gaining insight into the talents of your employees and making this optimal, you increase the results of your team.

  • Motivating leadership and developing engagement: How do you make sure that you (together with your) employee (s) deliver a team-oriented attitude, responsibility and effort?

  • Delegate and check: What tasks do you delegate to which employee? And how do you keep the person just as motivated as yourself?

  • Consciously deploying conversation techniques: As a manager you enter different types of conversations, which require different conversation techniques. We handle Progress interviews, feedback conversations and bad news conversations.

  • Directing results: formulating and achieving goals: MAKE it SMART!

  • Conflict handling and coping withresistance: recognizing and dealing with emotions and resistance of employees and yourself.

Target

This training is ideally suited for (leading) executives, managers, team leaders or coordinators and needs (more) insight, background knowledge and skills. Do you recognize yourself in one or more of the following points?

Method

  • Customised work is central to us: by means of an intake interview the trainer will enumerate your personal learning goals. On this basis, the final programme of the training is determined.
  • We find a safe training atmosphere important because you have to feel comfortable when experimenting with new knowledge and skills. We therefore devote ample attention to this.
  • We strongly believe in doing and experiencing, rather than telling about the content of training, which makes all our trainings active in nature.
  • In order to guarantee the quality of the training, we apply a maximum group size of eight participants for the training, so that we can guarantee the learning effect and efficiency.

Language

The training is provided by default in Dutch. The trainer controls the English language. English course material can be used. When registering at least 3 participants, the training can also be provided entirely in English.

Mentioned prices are per person, including course material. Lunch is included in the training on location.

We also organize this training online. For this we use Webbex or Zoom. Logging in with Skype is also possible. On request this training can also be organized with Microsoft Teams.
