Course Negotiation

Negotiating is the process of scanning each other's interests and conditions, in order to finally reach an agreement that is acceptable to both parties. As a negotiator, you have the task of ensuring that your interests are optimally unified with those of the opposing party, so that both parties have a win-win situation. Assertiveness, questioning techniques and persuasion are indispensable skills. It is very well possible to learn these skills and to become more aware of your own behaviour at the negotiating table.

In our two-day training Negotiation We will do exercises to find out which techniques best fit Your personal negotiating style. You gain insight into the negotiation process and learn to set negotiating goals. We are going to get started with questioning techniques and convincing arguments. After the training, you will be firmly negotiating and you know to better represent the interests of yourself or your organization.

Lesmethodiek

The description above gives a good indication of what the training will look like. However, the content may vary slightly per workout. In Learnit Training we think in customization: practical situations of the participants are always our starting and ending points. Individual intake interviews prior to the training will be used to enumerate the learning objectives of the participants. On this basis, the final programme of the training is determined. Learning by experienced state in our trainings is paramount, because nothing is so demotivating as a teacher who is lesson time full of talk. The training requires an active commitment and ownership of each participant, resulting in the discovery and development of new skills and opportunities.

Target

This training is ideally suited for participants who are often in negotiating positions and have the idea to get more out of it, and participants who want to more assertive themselves during a negotiation.

Prior knowledge

No prior knowledge is required for this training.

Language

The training is provided by default in Dutch. The trainer controls the English language. English course material can be used. When registering at least 3 participants, the training can also be provided entirely in English.
