Course Oracle Database 11g: Administration Part 1a

The course provides insight into the architecture and concepts of the Oracle database 11g. In addition, we handle the specific tasks of a database administrator in a (multi-user) production environment. These tasks include creating a database and managing users and tablespaces. The course uses the Enterprise Manager to perform the various tasks, as well as command line tools such as SQL * Plus. The course is platform-Independent: If necessary, platform-specific changes are given with respect to Windows and UNIX variants.

Each participant will have its own database.

The substance of this course forms the basis of the management of an Oracle database 11g. The follow-up course "Oracle Database 11g: Administration Part 1b" Directly connects to this course and completes the foundation with additional theory and deepening.

The two courses "Oracle Database 11g: Administration Part 1a" and "part 1b" together deal with all topics from the OCA certification program "Oracle Database 11g Administrator Certified

This course is intended for people who are responsible for managing an Oracle database 11g or other Oracle users who want to have background information about the operation of the Oracle database as a database administrator.
