Or do you perhaps feel that you do not fully manage to change a certain mindset or behavioural pattern permanently? We will gladly offer you a helping hand in finding a solution.
Your behavior or thinking change is usually easier said than done. You may need to go deeper into the matter and take a closer look at the underlying causes of your situation. We have qualified coaches who can help you with this. In a personal coaching Course we go deeper into your motives, dreams, wishes, motives and ideas, to help you realize a lasting and valuable change in your behavior, situation or thinking patterns.
Why a personal coach itinerary?
We offer personal coaching In addition to our trainings, because this course is more personal and in the longer term can produce a drastic result. Coaching is, more than just a training, a good way to gain deeper insights and to work independently with your own beliefs and hidden motives. Do you recognize one of the following questions? Then a coaching program may be something for you.
- What makes me feel uncertain about the quality of my work?
- Why do I not manage to delegate my work and give boundaries to my colleagues?
- Why am I so exhausted and I have little energy?
- How do I better profile myself to my supervisor or for large groups?
- Who am I actually really? And what do I want?
- Why am I not convincing about it?
- How do I deal with what the customer wants and what I want?
This list is Natúúrlijk not complete: everyone is different.
The working method of the Learnit coaches: four main principles
We attach great importance to a good click between our coaches and the people we coach. If you can cope well with the coach, it has a very fruitful influence on the development process and the final outcome of the journey. That's why we carry out an intake interview before the coaching starts. If you have a click with the coach and vice versa, the coaching program can be further designed. If there Is no click, no fee will be charged.
We use a clear vision and method of coaching, based on four principles:
Personal coaching starts with us in the first session when getting the Coachingsvraag clear. Then we connect this with a result-oriented goal: When is the coaching for the employee and for you as a client successful? What competencies are we going to work on? What are we going to do to achieve that goal as well as possible?
Then we get to work from a safe, friendly attitude, and at the same time we do not get away from the confrontation. Our coaching sessions are inzichtgevend and ask of you the willingness to look at yourself. We work purposefully: The end result is clearly formulated at the start of the coaching and it is our aim to achieve that result in a constructive way. Important in our coaching sessions is that you take responsibility for your own growth process. By experiencing that you are able to step out of existing patterns by gaining insight into yourself, the coach ultimately makes itself redundant.
The Iceberg theory
During the coach sessions We make use of the so-called ' Iceberg theory '. That theory considers the behavior you show as the tip of the iceberg. With an iceberg beneath the visible top-beneath the water surface-a huge mass of ice is hidden. It also works with your personality: the visible part, your behaviour, is based on a whole range of (invisible, sometimes unconscious) motives, motivations, choices and ideas. To change your behavior, it is often not enough to behave differently, but you also have to look at what is under water and maybe even reconsider. Personal coaching is directed at us to clarify what is beneath the surface of the water. Sometimes it suffices to look carefully and understand what you see, and sometimes it is necessary to change your thinking patterns below the surface to reach your goal. Whatever the case, our coach will assist you in the process. It's an exciting quest, but you're in safe hands.
In the moment
A coach looks at your behavior and tries to help you break through certain patterns. This means that your behaviour will also be mirrored during a session. A coach sees what happens in a session and works with it, so from the ' here and now '. This requires an open attitude and a willingness to be open to this direct form of communication. This is a very effective way of coaching, which gives you insight into your own thinking and acting.
Below you'll find a number of competencies to help you get started during a personal coach trip. Of course you decide what you want to deal with during the sessions:
- Conflict management
- Coping with Emotions
- Personal effectiveness
- Self understanding
Where does you want to devote attention to?
Form of the trajectory
A trajectory consists of five meetings. During the first meeting you get acquainted with the coach in an intake interview; This will look at whether there is a click between you and our coach. You can then indicate if there is anything you can continue with the route. Then, if desired, a conversation can take place with you, your manager and the coach. For example, the coach question, learning goals, expectations and desired results are clearly discussed and determined.
Then follow the other four conversations with your coach (sessions from 1.5 to 2 hours), scattered in a few months. The dates to be planned for coaching are flexible and will be coordinated with you and the coach. On average, there are two to three weeks between the sessions in order to settle the discussed and provide sufficient space to reflect and perceive changes in behaviour and thoughts in the work practice.
The five coaching sessions are followed by an evaluation interview. In the two or three conversations between you, the coach and (possibly) your manager, it is examined whether the trajectory can be concluded satisfactorily, or whether some follow-up sessions are desirable. The aim is to complete the trajectory in five sessions, but sometimes a number of follow-up sessions is desirable. During the evaluation it is determined whether this is necessary and if so, how many conversations this will involve. By the way, the introductory meeting, where we will see if there is a click between you and our coach, is free of charge if you choose not to continue with the trajectory. So you can always say 'no'.
The conversations between you and your coach will preferably take place at one of our locations. Our experience shows that it is perceived as pleasant not to be present in the workplace during the coaching, so that it can be coached undisturbed and the coached has some distance from his or her daily work. The two or three interviews can, if desired, be done in the office.
We offer our locations in Amsterdam and Groningen free of charge for the coach sessions. The rate is in that case €250.00 per session (excl. VAT).
