Improve cooperation through team coaching

Particular that one team operates above average, while the other is stagnating. In one team there is harmony and the other team is unresting. In some teams, however, and in other teams, there is hardly any responsibility for joint results. Everything is linked to clarity in goals, the degree of commitment and the ability of the team to talk about it, to give feedback and to engage in confrontation. Either: To perform the role of team member instead of focusing on personal issues.

Introduction

Every organization strives for well functioning teams. However, due to differences in dynamics, cooperation and communication, there are also intriguing differences between teams, despite comparable compositions. By means of Team coaching Learnit Training ensures that teams are stronger in their shoes afterwards, that differences can exist alongside each other and that they can be appreciated. Together with the team the team coach looks for collective thinking and behavioural patterns within the group, so that the cooperation can be tackled constructively.

Underlying every team are many layers of mutual relationships, ways of organizing, unconscious beliefs and different motivations. By scrutinising these layers during team coaching, it becomes clear how the members of the team maintain certain patterns that are (not) effective. The approach of team coaching is to increase competence development. This will improve the mutual cooperation of the team and the interaction between the coached team and its environment. In this way, the desired result and process objectives can be realised.

Growth and development: these are the two concepts that have been my passion for many years, in the broadest sense of the word. With clients this results in beautiful, insightful advice, guidance, training and (team) coaching. Increasing insight into one's own abilities and researching what hinders the other to take the next step. By listening carefully to what is (not) being said, holding up a mirror with respect and always connecting with the client. I want to set people in motion from contact and connection and from the conviction that every participant knows best what is needed, but only needs that little push in the right direction. My approach: experience action-oriented exercises in a safe environment that can be confronting, but where laughter is certainly not lacking. Every training, group and individual is different, and therefore always customized. And what fun and educational it is!

A team is more than the sum of the individual team members. A team can even make the impossible possible, but sometimes teams bite their tails and lock themselves in place by staying in rusted and worn patterns, and the strength of the team, the system, helps to maintain this. This pattern can often be broken by change or input from outside. As a team coach, I work with the team to find out what those patterns are and bring them to light, thinking about constantly complementing or discussing each other, or any other behaviour that is characteristic of the team. By naming this and discussing it, it becomes clear what is going on in the undercurrent of the team, which makes this behaviour characteristic of the team. This creates relaxation and space for other behaviour. I believe that every team can get even more out of itself by (daring to) go through that research and look in the mirror of the team. Every time I enjoy the journey and development of a team.

Dorien

Everyone and everything changes continuously. Every man and every team. I believe bumps in the way can lead to interesting insights and learning moments. I often hear from people or teams that they are stuck in old patterns. I help make this insightful so that they can learn from their strength. I supervise and coach people and teams during changes and transitions from a systemic angle, because a man is not separate from his environment. My coachings and trainings are a sign of experience and doing. Through my training, the unconscious is addressed, so that patterns, wishes, blockages, talents and solutions come to light.
